This is Halloween, this is Halloween. . .

Since Halloween is this coming weekend, I think the new piece for this Friday should be something scary of sorts. Should be fun and look forward to sharing it with you. (^.~)

Heavy Subject

Today's new piece is something that has been weighing heavily on me this past week. Its not something you would usually talk about. It seems now a days you hear of younger people committing suicide for a number of reasons. It leaves one thinking of what can you do differently to change this outcome in someone you know.

Most of what I write is inspired by drawing from real life experiences. You may not not which part of a piece is something that I have pulled from something I or my children have or are going through.

For this particular piece I hope to inspire you to hug those close to you. You never know what they are going through or what you can do to help/change them.  Let them know they matter and tell them you love them. I try to tell my children every day that I love them. Sometimes they hear it, sometimes they don't. However I will now make sure they hear me.

New Piece

I know it isn't the end of the week but something has been running through my head the last few days. I have finally been able to pen it down. Please have a read and let me know what you think. (^.~)

New piece: There She Goes

Here we go!

Ok, so I moved all my stuff over my other webiste to this blog except for "Finding Lilly". As some of you may know that it is something I have been working on to hopefully get published. I may move it over or tease tad bits of it, not sure yet.

My goal is to hopefully be more active here as well as sharing post to my Facebook Page. I am also hoping to add something new at the end of each week with random updates/stuff throughout the week. I can make all the webpages/blogs I want but I really need to be active to generate a web presence and to get people to hopefully read what I have to share. 

I am open to both praise and criticism as it allows me to better my skills as a story teller. I can do this with your help so please on what you liked/disliked whether it is with a piece I have written or even my blog layout/colors. (^.~)

Something New. . .

So first post on this thing. . . . Let's see . . .

I have my own website ~ Musings of a Bard ~ which is cool and all but I can't seem to figure out how to make it work as a blog. Nor have I figured out how to get it to link with my Facebook pages so comments can be made on what I have written. So I figured I would give this a try although I feel it is going to be a frustrating process. (>.<) 

I am going to try and move all my stuff to this place and see how it goes. I will still be posting them to my website but at least here I will be able to see what my readers like/dislike and hopefully learn what areas I need to improve.
